The reason you see those receipts in the Xero app in the "Receipts" section is because they were uploaded through Veryfi as "Expense Claims" instead of "Bills".

You can change all your receipts to be "Purchases":

In the Veryfi mobile app:

  • Navigate to receipt Details
  • Tap on Xero Receipt settings
  • Change to "Upload to Purchases"
  • Tap on “Save”

In the web app (hub.veryfi.com)

  • Navigate to My Documents 
  • Click on "View Details" for receipt
  • In the popup click on "Xero Settings" tab
  • Change to "Upload to Purchases"
  • Click on “Save”
