The API includes sophisticated fraud detection technology that assigns confidence scores (0.0 to 1.0) to documents. It can detect LCD photos (documents photographed from screens), non-document classifications, screenshots instead of authentic PDFs, and duplicate document submissions. Like transaction categorization, fraud detection features must be activated separately by contacting support.
