Expenses assigned as expense Claims instead of Bills? Here's how to change this.

The reason you see those receipts in the Xero app in the "Receipts" section is because they were uploaded through Veryfi as "Expense Claims" instead of "Bills".

You can change all your receipts to be "Purchases":

In the Veryfi mobile app:

  • Navigate to receipt Details

  • Tap on Xero Receipt Settings

  • Change to "Upload to Purchases"

  • Tap on “Save

In the web portal (app.veryfi.com)

  • Navigate to My Documents 

  • Click on "View Details" for receipt

  • In the popup, click on the "Xero Settings" tab

  • Change to "Upload to Purchases"

  • Click on “Save
