Stitch Additional Files to an Existing Transaction?

How to add a 2nd receipt to an existing transaction in your inbox.

FOR API USERS:

This feature is only available on the Veryfi Hub (Web App) located here https://app.veryfi.com/ inside the INBOX.

1 . Open the transaction you want to stitch an extra document to. Note the highlighted "STITCH MORE" feature link sitting below the document preview window.

If you don't see this, you might need to scroll down the modal window.

2. Press "STITCH MORE" blue button and then select a file to add to this transaction. A confirmation window will show up.

3. Press "YES, STITCH IT" blue button to continue. A progress window confirming the upload shows up.

4. When done. The modal window with your transaction will refresh the Preview showing you the NEW image you stitched.

Please note the following:

  • If you stitch an additional image to a document that has already been synced to QuickBooks/Xero/CloudStorage, unlike other edits or changes/updates to document details, this update will not be re-synced.

  • Veryfi will not re-process this Transaction, JSON and OCRed text will remain the same.

    If you need to submit multiple pictures for the same receipt/invoice

    Add multiple images of files to .zip file and submit .zip to Veryfi via API call

    .zip can be used when users have multiple separate images or PDF files for the same Invoice/Receipt. When you submit .zip, the system combines those separate images or PDF files into 1 PDF file and processes it as 1 Transaction. Please note, .zip file can be submitted via direct API call only.
