You may have disabled Permissions for Veryfi to access your Phone's camera. To check Veryfi Permissions, go to your Phone's Settings > Veryfi (in the list of apps as shown below) and make sure CAMERA is ON (green toggle switch).
If it's OFF, turn it ON and go back to Veryfi app. Camera will now engage.
